-European industrial and logistics investment increased 6% YoY in the first nine months of 2020 to reach a total of €23.2bn.

-I&L volumes continued to outperform the wider property market, which fell 10% for the year to date.

-The best performers in 9M 2020 were Denmark, with volumes 141% higher YoY, Italy where they doubled and the Netherlands, up 34%.

-3Q volumes were just 1.5% lower than the same period last year, despite trebling in Central Europe, increasing 150% in Italy and rising strongly in the Nordics.

-Capital flows into European I&L in the last 12 months were 18% higher at €38bn. For the 3Q 2020 alone, the total of €7.7bn was 52% higher QoQ.

-There was a 41% rise in cross border investment in Europe and a 36% increase in North American flows. Domestic volumes, the largest category, were 2% higher.
