After the subdued activity in Q2, multifamily investment rebounded sharply in Q3 2020 with CBRE recording a total of £1.43bn worth of investment.

Furthermore, the majority of transactions were concluded at pre-lockdown levels with little evidence of any significant pricing impact.

At the end of Q3 there was also another £1.4bn worth of investment under offer. If this all transacts before the end of the year, it would bring total investment in 2020 to approximately £4bn; almost 50% higher than 2019.
